PAUL, 11E-DUO - Optimizing Rip and Cutoff System
Wood Equipment. Complete Rip and Crosscut System including: 5-Belt unscrambler, 5-chain board dealer into ripsaw lumber scanner. ~~ Scanner checks for board width-and-taper and places the incoming board onto a right angle transfer/feed table which allows the board to enter the ripsaw skewed for optimum lumber utilization. ~~ The Rip Saw consists of a PAUL double arbor selective rip saw equipped with a stationary & selective hogging head on the 1st arbor and (4) selective saw blades on the 2nd arbor. Min. width rip is 7/8 in. on the (2) inside blades and 1-1/8 in. on the (2) outside blades. ~ Ripped lumber feeds out of the saw and onto a takeaway belt equipped with a kick-off device which transfers ripped material sideways onto a 4-chain cross conveyor. ~The cross conveyor is equipped with a transfer device for feeding ripped material directly onto the marked lumber chain. - Minimal marking can be performed at this station when running higher grades of lumber. If the ripped lumber is to be more heavily crayon marked, the ripped lumber remains on the ripped lumber chains. ~ Ripped stock is transferred to (1 of 3) markers where they pick the lumber from the chain and place the material onto their respective gravity roller conveyor marking stations. ~ After marking, the lumber is placed onto the marked lumber chain and the material is fed into a right angle transfer into the optimizing Cutoff Saws. The transfer places the marked lumber accurately into the crayon scanner so that the material is centered for feeding thru the cameras. Lumber is scanned for waste, beginning-and-ending of clear zones, and for up-or-downgradable zones. The leading-and-trailing ends of the lumber are also scanned. ~ Upon leaving the scanner, an electronic label is attached to each board and the boards are tracked to (1 of 2) full optimizing Cutoff Saws. Boards are dealt to either the right or left Cutoff Saw, depending on material demand at the individual saws. Waste is ejected out the back of each saw and collected in a waste takeaway conveyor. ~ Cut stock is transported along the (2) sorting belts where (1 of 16) diverters eject the cut stock from the belt and onto its respective cut stock take away belt. ~The cutoff saws are arranged for: 7 in. x 1-3/4 in. Max. cross section cap., 3/8 in. min. (1/8 in. with special sensor) x 3-17/32 in. max. material height, approx. 18 in. min. to 16` max. incoming lumber length; 7.5 HP saw motor, 19-5/8 in. saw blade dia. operating at 3,600 RPM. ~ The Cutoff Saw feed belt is capable of running at at 550 FPM. ~Overhead pressure rollers are manually adjustable for timber thickness, spiral fluted bottom feed rollers with top pressure roller assembly, pneumatic saw stroke. ~ Complete with: CNC MAXI-4.0 Programmable controller with keypad data entry and function control for controlling position of board during cutting cycle, featuring full optimization with (250) lengths, (4) lumber grades and (4) statistics. ~ Cutting options available by priority, grade, quantity. Change of program via fluorescent crayon marking code, quantity optimization, clock, testing/simulation program, control of dot matrix printer (not included). - Complete with other misc. peripheral devices and material handling systems. ~ Includes approx. (100) carbide saw blades and (4) sets of carbide hogging heads. [Ref. # RG-010791] - Take advantage of the exchange rate & buy Used in the USA! - YMFG 1998; Very Good Condition
